Coeymans Hollow Honors Firefighter, Officer of Year

During its Installation Dinner on April 17, the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation presented its 2025 Firefighter and Officer of the Year awards to members.


In recognition of Patrick McCarthy's return to the department and his completion of three significant training courses in his first few months back, Chief Haight gave him the Firefighter of the Year award. His dedication and hard work stood out among members throughout the year, according to officials.


Daniel Haight received the Officer of the Year award from Assistant Chief Williams for the second year in a row. His leadership, reaction activity, training involvement, and ongoing support of department operations and the community were acknowledged by members.
