THERESA, N.Y. — April 15th — Chief Herman was honored by members of the Theresa Fire Department, Inc. for his leadership and years of devotion to the department and the local emergency services community. His contributions to emergency response operations, firefighter training, and mutual aid coordination across Jefferson County were recognized by department authorities. Maintaining operational readiness, fostering firefighter development, and organizing responses to automobile accidents, building fires, and other crises are all major responsibilities of fire department directors.
