Sackets Harbor Crews Hold Tuesday Night Training

SACKETS HARBOR, N.Y. — April 28th — Tuesday night training was held by members of the Sackets Harbor Fire Company, Inc. as part of continuous efforts to improve fireground abilities and maintain operational preparedness. The use of equipment, communication protocols, and coordination strategies that are frequently employed in rescue operations, mutual aid situations, and structural fires across the region were evaluated by the crews.


During practical training evolutions intended to increase productivity and safety on emergency situations, firefighters also exercised reaction operations and collaboration. Regular nightly drills continue to be crucial in preparing volunteer firefighters for situations in both residential and rural response regions, according to department officials. Members can keep their certifications and operational preparedness throughout the year with the support of weekly training.
