On May 3, members of the Malone Callfiremen took part in the department's 2026 Annual Pump Drill.
Drafting operations, water movement using portable tanks, and coordinated engine company operations were the main topics of the practical instruction. For firefighting operations, crews trained setting up water supplies from static sources, running several pieces of equipment at once, and maintaining a steady water flow.
