PLEASANTVILLE, NJ — Members of the Pleasantville Fire Department recently completed a series of annual live fire training evolutions at the Atlantic County Fire Academy, sharpening critical skills under realistic conditions.

Over multiple days, crews operated in controlled live burn scenarios, rotating through hands-on training focused on search and rescue, vent-enter-search (VES) techniques, fire suppression, and tower operations.

The multi-session approach ensured all members gained repeated exposure to high-intensity environments.

The department conducts two live burn training cycles each year, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining a high level of readiness for the demands of emergency response.
