Green Creek Conducts SCBA and Rescue Training

On April 8 and 22, Green Creek Fire Company members used on-site training props to perform SCBA training sessions.
In order to replicate real-world conditions, crews were trained in stacked conex boxes with obstacles. Mayday scenarios, Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) operations, and the search and rescue of victims and fallen firefighters were among the evolutions.
SCBA training strengthens communication, air management, and rescue techniques while assisting firefighters in operating safely in dangerous and low-visibility situations.
