Ho-Ho-Kus Trains with Hackensack Rescue 1

HO-HO-KUS, NJ — April 28th — In order to train with the Hackensack Fire Department, members of the Ho-Ho-Kus Volunteer Fire Department traveled and worked alongside Rescue 1 on the principles of rope rescue.


The exercise reinforced abilities required in situations involving elevated and limited spaces by concentrating on fundamental rope rescue techniques. Exposure to equipment, rigging techniques, and operational procedures is beneficial while training with specialized units such as Rescue 1.
