Binghamton, NY - The Binghamton Fire Department conducted hands-on Swiftwater and boat operations training with members of its Recruit Academy, focusing on the challenges posed by the city’s waterways.

With the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers converging in the area, firefighters trained in boat handling, water rescue techniques, and operating safely in moving water conditions.
