Dennis Ball Recognized for 35 Years of Service

NAHANT, MA — April 12th — As three new firefighters started training after graduating from the Massachusetts Fire Academy and longstanding member Dennis Ball finished his last training day, the Nahant Fire Department observed a transition day.


Firefighter Ball received a promotion to Lieutenant during the ceremony in honor of his more than 35 years of service to the Town of Nahant. Throughout his tenure, he served as the Nahant Department of Public Works' Superintendent and Emergency Management Director in addition to responding to a large number of calls.


Ball also made contributions to state and municipal firefighter education through the Department of Fire Services. Officials expressed gratitude for his long service and dedication.
