Basic hose operations were the subject of a training session held in April by Randolph Village Fire Department personnel.
Workers focused on clean and effective hose loads while deploying and repacking handlines from the engine. A fundamental fireground ability that facilitates faster stretches and more successful fire attacks during events is proper hose management.
