Brookfield, MA — April 13th — Brush truck-based water supply operations training was held by the Brookfield Fire Department, located at 4 Central St., Brookfield, MA, USA, 01506. Water movement in regions without hydrants, which is a common problem during brush and wildland fire occurrences, was practiced by crews. To keep the fire flowing steadily, members worked on drafting, setting up portable tanks, and coordinating the deployment of hose lines.
In order to help suppression efforts and reach inaccessible locations, brush trucks were utilized. In Central Massachusetts, rural water supply training is an essential component of readiness. During prolonged crises where dependable water access is scarce, these drills help enhance cooperation, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.
