WEST BOYLSTON, MA — March 31st — The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services has granted the West Boylston Fire Department a grant to replace outdated brush fire turnout equipment.
The money, which is a component of the Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant Program, will help buy modern protection gear for activities involving brush and wildland fires. These kinds of equipment enhancements contribute to increased firefighter efficacy and safety in outdoor fire situations.
