Exeter, NH — April 26th — The Exeter Fire Department, located at 20 Court Street, held training sessions on auto accidents that would necessitate extrication. Using hydraulic rescue equipment, crews performed patient removal, tool deployment, and vehicle stabilization. In line with established fireground protocols for technical rescue situations, the workshop focused on safe operations and effective access to trapped persons.
Exeter TV watched the training to showcase the equipment and methods that firemen employ. Frequent exercises of this kind ensure that responders can function efficiently while supporting patient care and scene safety during emergency responses throughout the department's service area. They also help maintain crew preparedness for both routine and complicated occurrences.
