Bantam, CT — April 24th — In order to fulfill the yearly training requirements, the Bantam Fire Company worked with Flash Fire Industries to perform live fire training. Twenty-five individuals in all underwent controlled evolutions centered on "can confidence" approaches and firing behavior.

In order to track the spread of fires and practice putting them out using portable extinguishers, crews worked in supervised burn scenarios. Making decisions, communicating, and moving safely within were all strengthened by the training. The instructors focused on identifying shifting fire behavior and using the right strategies.
