Hancocks Bridge, NJ — March 27th — At Salem County Recyclers Inc., Quinton Fire Company, Station 13, hosted a Salem County Fire District 2 extrication simulation in which the Lower Alloways Creek Fire & Rescue, situated at 15 Maple Avenue, took part. Crews from Station and Squad 18 trained with BLS from Squad 13 and units from Stations 13, 14, 15, 18, and 19.
Before crews used the Holmatro Pantheon battery tools in practical car rescue situations, ESI instructors taught them. Stabilization, patient access, and coordinated operations were the main topics of the exercise. This kind of multi-agency training promotes safe and efficient reactions to auto accidents throughout the county.
