Salem, NJ — March 24th — The Elsinboro Fire Company combined recent drills into a concentrated lesson on pump operations and hose line deployment during its routine Tuesday night training. Under controlled circumstances, crews established a water supply, positioned equipment, and advanced handlines. Officers emphasized the importance of ongoing training for volunteer units that rely on mutual aid support and low staffing.

In addition to ensuring that participants maintained familiarity with equipment and regular operating procedures, the drill strengthened collaboration amongst engine firms. Regular training is still emphasized by departments around the region as a means of enhancing response efficiency and worker safety. To support its activities and keep the community prepared, Elsinboro Fire Company is actively seeking new members.
