WILDWOOD, NJ — March 29th — Over the course of two weeks at an acquired building in Lower Township, the City of Wildwood Fire Department and members of the North Wildwood Fire Department finished Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) operations training.

The training concentrated on fireman rescue methods for situations in which a member gets lost or trapped within a building. Crews operated in realistic conditions, emphasizing search, removal, and coordinated team operations. RIT training is still essential to fire safety and readiness.
