BROOKVIEW, NJ — April 13th — During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Appreciation Week, the Brookview Volunteer Fire Company honored its dispatchers, emphasizing their contribution to day-to-day emergency operations.

In addition to providing vital communication support to first responders in the field, dispatchers operate as the initial point of contact for callers in crisis. Call intake, resource assignment, and radio communication maintenance during emergencies are all part of their job.

For their ongoing service, Brookview officials thanked Scott, Christine, Estefany, Rosalie, Jennifer, Mariam, Erin, Rose, Sarah, Salha, and Luis. Effective emergency response systems still depend heavily on dependable communications.
