This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

CLINTON, NJ — April 20th — The Clinton Fire Department received training in ladder company operations along Main Street from the High Bridge Fire Department.

Crews concentrated on apparatus location and aerial operations while working in a confined space with narrow alleyways, parked cars, and overhead wires. Firefighters are better equipped to respond in densely populated regions when they receive training in these settings.

During structural fires, ladder company drills focus on access, placement, and coordination with engine companies.
