ISLIP, NY — April 13th — Members of the nearby Islip Terrace Fire Department participated in a joint roof operations training with the Islip Fire Department.
Both departments' crews received training on safe roof operations, including how to use ladders, ventilate spaces, and work on uneven areas. Firefighters can work together in a controlled environment and enhance coordination during mutual assistance situations through joint drills.
