Wilton, ME - Wilton Fire & Rescue members conducted routine truck checks alongside hands-on training, highlighted by the introduction of a new forcible entry door simulator.
The training prop replicates locked residential and commercial doors, allowing firefighters to practice breaching techniques in a controlled, cost-effective manner without causing property damage.
Crews utilized the new equipment to refine skills essential for rapid entry during emergencies.
The acquisition was made possible through grant funding secured with support from the Leary Firefighters Foundation, reinforcing the department’s commitment to advancing training capabilities.
