Electric Boat Fire Department in Groton, CT. is proud to put into service this 2025 Ford F550, 4x4, with liquid spring suspension and a Powerstroke diesel. This (LDR) light duty rescue was chosen to replace our older vehicle because of the extra storage capacity for our technical rescue equipment. This apparatus was purchased through and custom upfitting with a command light tower, coffin boxes, PPE lockers in the cab by New England Fire Equipment located in North Haven, Connecticut.
