Hillcrest Serves as Color Guard at Pearl River Parade

In the final week of March, the Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1 carried on a long-standing custom by participating in the Pearl River St. Patrick's Day Parade as the Color Guard for the Rockland County Firefighters Pipes and Drums.
Members supported the Pipes and Drums unit and represented the fire department in front of the community by taking part in the yearly event. The custom, according to officials, is a reflection of the department's pride, heritage, and ongoing participation in neighborhood events.
