BAY HEAD, NJ — April 8th — Over the last week, the Bay Head Fire Company No. 1 took part in two live-fire training exercises with mutual assistance partners.

Members received training in basement fire operations and victim search procedures on Wednesday at the Toms River Fire Training Center with Squankum Fire Company No. 1. Crews from Bay Head joined the Ocean Fire Company at the Ocean County Fire Academy on Thursday to work on more search operations and increased home fire scenarios.

Additionally, the department expressed gratitude to the Point Pleasant First Aid & Emergency Squad for covering EMS throughout the academy training.
