BUDD LAKE, NJ — March 28th — The Budd Lake Volunteer Fire Department provided practical extrication training with an emphasis on patient removal and vehicle stabilization.
In order to reinforce strategies employed in major auto accidents, crews practiced a variety of scenarios involving simulated entrapment. Stabilizing vehicles, gaining access, and securely evacuating individuals under controlled settings were all part of the training.
