This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

— March 26th — In preparation for the spring fire season, the Adelphia Fire Company trained with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, concentrating on brush fire operations.

Through drawing operations, crews assessed strategies for water delivery, structural protection, and wildland fire control. As conditions became increasingly conducive to brush fires, officials emphasized the significance of coordinated training.

Additionally, the department encouraged locals to keep defensible space around their homes by removing leaves and debris, especially from gutters. A permission is needed for open burning, and locals are urged to completely put out campfires, avoid driving on dry vegetation, and refrain from burning during windy or dry weather. Always keep an eye on fire pits.
