PERRY, ME — April 8th — At Horn Run Longacre, the Perry Volunteer Fire Department conducted its yearly meeting and elected officers. Chief Justin McPhail, Assistant Chief Jay Pearson, Captain Chad McPhail, 1st Lt. Charlie Leppin, 2nd Lt. Eric Voisine, and Secretary Tammy Hoche were chosen by the members to manage the department in the upcoming year. Volunteer departments can assess operations, verify leadership, and establish training and response goals at annual meetings.

Elected officers oversee day-to-day operations, maintain preparedness, and plan emergency response activities for departments around Maine. Effective incident management and departmental organization depend on these positions. With the help of its members, families, and the neighborhood, the Perry Volunteer Fire Department is still in operation today, offering emergency services and fire protection all throughout the region.
