Liberty, ME - Members of the Liberty Fire & Rescue, joined by Palermo Volunteer Fire and Rescue, conducted a comprehensive training session focused on forestry operations and equipment.

The training included a detailed review of forestry apparatus, tools, and chainsaw operations, with an emphasis on safe and effective usage.

Special attention was given to newer personnel, providing hands-on instruction to build confidence and familiarity with chainsaw handling in fireground and wildland scenarios.

The joint exercise strengthened interagency coordination while reinforcing essential skills needed for effective wildfire response and field operations.
