Ashford Fire to Host Opioid Awareness Training

ASHFORD, CT — April 18th — A public education and training program about opioid use and addiction will be held by the Ashford Volunteer Fire Department.


The fire station, located at 46 Westford Road, will host the event on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. SERAC is helping to conduct the session. The session, which will include information on opioid awareness, addiction, and relevant options, is open to the public, according to officials. Such activities are a part of continuous efforts to promote preventative and education programs in the community.
