BALTIC, CT — April 14th — Members of Baltic Fire Engine Company No. 1 used the favorable weather to hone fundamental fireground skills during a week of active training.

Crews reinforced line management and suppression tactics while concentrating on hose advancement and flowing operations. Members also participated in live burn evolutions alongside the Lisbon Fire Department, providing realistic fire conditions to build experience and coordination.

In order to guarantee that firefighters maintain their proficiency in using equipment and performing elevated activities, further training included ladder familiarization and confidence exercises.
