Belfast, ME - Belfast Fire and EMS crews conducted focused training on CPR recertification and cardiac arrest management, reinforcing critical skills needed when every second counts.


Firefighters practiced hands-on scenarios using the LUCAS device to ensure consistent, high-quality CPR both on scene and during patient transport.


Mutual aid partners from the Waldo Volunteer Fire Department also participated, enhancing coordination and teamwork across agencies. The training was led by full-time Paramedic/Firefighter Whittlesey and Assistant Chief Robbins, emphasizing a continued commitment to improving patient care.
