Lempster, NH - Lempster Fire Department hosted New England Fire Training with participating departments from Walpole and Alstead, bringing crews together for comprehensive, hands-on instruction designed to enhance emergency response capabilities.

The training covered a range of critical fireground operations, including realistic scenarios aimed at preparing firefighters for complex and high-risk incidents. A key component of the session was a firefighter down drill, where crews practiced rapid intervention techniques, removing a downed firefighter’s gear, and initiating lifesaving CPR.

These coordinated exercises reinforce teamwork, sharpen skills, and ensure personnel are prepared to respond effectively when faced with challenging and unpredictable emergencies.
