EAST GREENWICH, RI — April 5th — Five East Greenwich Firefighters Association members who took part in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Stair Climb were honored by IAFF Local 3328.
The event raises money and awareness for lung disease while challenging participants to climb several flights of stairs. Firefighters frequently participate in full gear, which highlights respiratory health issues within the fire department and reflects the physical demands of the work.
