Westville Crews Mark 25 Years of Service and Remembrance

WESTVILLE, NJ — March 21st — To commemorate 25 years since the death of a revered firefighter, the Westville Fire Department joined the West Deptford Fire Department and Verga Fire Company. To honor his years of service, family, friends, public leaders, and firefighters gathered for the event.


His career, including his elevation to Chief of the Verga Fire Company and his assistance with operations and member mentoring, were recognized by speakers. Members from every department participated in the celebration and stood in support of the family. In order to ensure that former members and their accomplishments are remembered, events like these continue to play a significant role in the fire service heritage.
