ALTON, NH — April 11th — Firefighter/AEMT Ryan Paterson was honored for his devotion and dedication to the community by the Alton Fire & Rescue in its ongoing "Firefighter Friday" focus.

In July 2024, Paterson joined the department because of the frequency of calls and range of occurrences handled there. The department's operating values are reflected in his steadfast commitment to work and emphasis on community involvement, according to officials.

The most fulfilling aspect of the job, according to him, is assisting residents in times of need. Paterson enjoys spending time outside with his wife while he is not on duty.
