ALTON, NH — April 4th — In its "Firefighter Friday" feature, Alton Fire & Rescue featured Firefighter/AEMT Brandon "Pasta" Rague.

After leaving a career as a CNC machine programmer in search of a more active and customer-focused position, Rague joined the department. For just under a year, he has been working full-time in Alton, which is his first job as a firefighter.

His dedication to patient care during EMS responses, as well as his strong work ethic and cheerful outlook, were noticed by department personnel. According to Rague, he cherishes the chance to engage with patients and get insight from their experiences while being transported.

He likes to play basketball, fish, and snowboard while he's not on duty. He exhorts aspiring firemen to persevere and grow from failures.
