Demarest, NJ — March 29th — All Hands Fire Training conducted a specialized aerial ladder operations training where members of the Demarest Fire Department trained alongside crews from Closter and Harrington Park.

Both rear-mount ladder trucks and mid-mount tower ladders were covered in the hands-on evolutions of the training, which concentrated on victim evacuation tactics using aerial apparatus. In order to safely remove patients from lofty positions, firefighters trained a variety of techniques, focusing on crew coordination, equipment use, and placement.

The Harrington Park Volunteer Fire Department hosted the training, which gave participants real-world scenarios that matched the tools each agency carried.
