Girard, PA — March 22nd — The state-run fire service training evolution came to an end when members of the A.F. Dobler Hose & Ladder Co., 37 Walnut St., finished a live burn training. Fire behavior, hose line progression, ventilation, and coordinated interior operations were the main topics of the program's classroom and practical components. Crews used the abilities they had gained during the course while operating under controlled conditions during the live burn.

Under an incident command structure, accountability, communication, and safe fireground techniques were prioritized. The National Fire Protection Association's guidelines are followed in this type of training, which aids departments in meeting established requirements for live fire training. The development, according to officials, improves operational readiness and guarantees that firefighters are equipped to manage structural fires in their community in a safe and efficient manner.
