On April 2, representatives from the Bergen Fire Department went to a nearby high school to talk to students about volunteering and career options in the fire service.

Students in grades 9 through 12 met with Captain Cummings, Lieutenant Willis, Firefighter/EMT Owen, and Restricted Firefighter Mundell to share their experiences and talk about the volunteer fire service's future. Current issues and the crucial role that the future generation will play were also discussed.
