ANGOLA — April 8th — Step-off drills centered on engine company operations were carried out by members of the Angola Volunteer Fire Department.
Scene size-up, hose deployment, and setting up a water supply through hydrant operations were among the first things covered in the training upon arrival. In order to replicate interior conditions and practice hydraulic ventilation procedures to remove smoke from a space, crews also included a smoke machine.
