In keeping with a long-standing tradition, members of the Cicero Fire Department took part in the 2026 Syracuse St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 14.

As representatives of the department and the Town of Cicero, firefighters participated in the yearly event alongside other organizations and community groups. Members showed up to support the procession and participate in the festivities despite the chilly weather.

Department officials remarked that the march provides a significant chance for camaraderie among troops and connection with the community outside of emergency operations.

The agency also commended the parade committee and organizers for continuing to sponsor the event each year.
