On March 29, Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Company members and their family went to the Onondaga County War Memorial to watch a Syracuse Crunch hockey game.
As the Crunch played Rochester, the outing gave firemen a chance to cheer a local team and spend time together off duty. Relationships between members and their families are strengthened outside of emergency situations, according to department officials.
