Providence, RI - The Providence Fire Department joined forces with the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Red Cross and several community partners for a citywide Sound the Alarm event focused on improving home fire safety. Together, teams visited households to install free smoke alarms, review safety tips, and help families create personalized home fire escape plans.
