RED LION, PA — March 12th — For the last inspection of their new Engine 77, members of Department Alliance Fire and Rescue Services, Inc., located at 201 W Broadway, Red Lion, PA, traveled to the Pierce Manufacturing factory. The inspection was conducted on Pierce's "Blue Floor," where fire crews examine newly delivered equipment. In order to make sure the engine complied with departmental requirements, Alliance firemen collaborated with Pierce experts to inspect pump operations, hose storage, lighting, and equipment mounting.

One of the biggest manufacturers of fire apparatus in North America, Pierce Manufacturing, is located in Appleton, Wisconsin, and frequently hosts departments for these last inspections and operator orientation. After it is delivered, Engine 77 will become a part of the Alliance fleet and assist in responding to automobile accidents, building fires, and other emergencies in the Red Lion region.
