Oxford Fire Department Shares Condolences for Konrad Mellert

OXFORD, NJ — March 21st — The Lopatcong Township Fire Department and Konrad Mellert's family received condolences from the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department, located at 14 Wall St., Oxford, NJ. Mellert worked for the New Jersey State Firemen's Relief Association for many years, providing assistance to firefighters in Warren County. By offering financial support to members who are hurt, disabled, or experiencing hardship, the organization helps firemen and their families.


Through this activity, Mellert maintained relationships with numerous departments throughout the area and assisted firefighters outside of his hometown. Mellert's lengthy history of devotion and support for fellow firefighters will be remembered by the Warren County fire department, according to members of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department.
