On March 11th, firefighters from the Scott Township Fire District completed Electrical Hazard Awareness training at the Bower Hill fire station.
Members of Glendale Hose Company No. 1, East Carnegie Volunteer Fire Department, and Bower Hill VFD attended the class, which focused on detecting and operating safely around electrical dangers during emergency responses.
Duquesne Light Company provided the training, which included the safety procedures that firemen should follow when encountering electrical equipment, power lines, and energized structures at incident scenes.
