Station 42 Captain Dan Swope went to Walter C. Black Elementary School on March 28th to read to students in his daughter Nora's class.
Captain Swope read the novel "Fire Chief Fran," as the class listened and learnt about firefighters' roles in the community. The visit allowed children to meet a local firefighter and hear a story about the fire department.
