On March 19, members of the Bayview Fire Department took part in first aid and "Stop the Bleed" training.
The class, led by Lt. Rodenas, focused on emergency medical care procedures for controlling severe bleeding and providing quick treatment in critical situations. Firefighters went over tourniquets, wound packing, and other first-aid techniques that can assist stabilize victims until advanced medical care arrives. The department complimented Lt. Rodenas for delivering the instruction and acknowledged the dedication of members who continue to train and remain prepared to serve the community.
