Busy March Sees Surge in Emergency Responses

Hancock, ME - March was a notably busy month for the department, with a total of 47 calls handled. These included a wide range of incidents such as fire alarms, gas-related emergencies, medical calls, and mutual aid responses to structure fires.

Medical calls made up the majority, accounting for 34 of the total incidents. Overall, the department has responded to 125 calls so far in 2026.
