Nine Calls Handled by Johnson Firefighters in March

The Johnson Fire Department has released its March 2026 call report, which covers the reporting period from the last Thursday of the previous month to the final Thursday of March.
During the period, the department handled 9 total calls, with an average call duration of 75 minutes. Firefighters provided 105 total service hours, with an average of 10 men responding to each incident. Five calls were received during the day (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), while four were handled overnight.
The call list comprised five motor vehicle accidents (10-50), two automatic fire alarms, one medical assistance, and one water or wilderness rescue.Notable incidents included a car versus building crash on March 7th, a water or wilderness rescue on March 6th, and a medical assist involving forcible entry on March 21st. Other calls included vehicle crashes and alarm responses throughout the month.
